Default SLP LS6 Intake Manifold w/egr for 1997-00 LS1 Engines

SLP LS6 Intake Manifold for 1997-00 LS1 Engines.

SLP has come up with a solution for the 1998-2000 Camaro/Firebird owner looking for more performance. The high performance LS-6 Intake Manifold is now available from SLP featuring SLP’s exclusive EGR modification, which enables the use of the vehicles stock EGR system. The new intake's increased plenum volume and massaged runner design results in an impressive gain of up to 20 hp at the rear wheels providing improved 0-60 and ¼ mile acceleration. After installation, the new LS-6 intake manifold looks nearly indistinguishable from the original LS-1 intake manifold making it a direct bolt-on replacement. Manifold is used but still looks like new, only used for a few track events. This is a hard to find item especially great condition. SLP’s intake manifold package includes all necessary parts, hardware.

$450 shipped

Don't you think $450 is pretty steep for an LS6 intake?

Not when it has the EGR provision, and sells for $500 + shipping through SLP.

This is not the regular one everyone buys this has the egr setup on it, its rare and its a lot more from slp especially after shipping, last time i checked it was close to $600. This is for the potential buyer that wants to pass smog and keep all egr equipment!thanks!

So the only difference with this intake and any other ls6 intake is the brass fitting?

So they drill a hole and put a $5.00 gas pipe fitting in it that can be brought at any Home depot and charge $600.00.

There are guys who mod the regular LS6 intakes to fit the EGR tube. It's not really that hard. Just add a big ol' brass fitting, and hack off the end of the EGR tube and add a brass fitting. Does your even include the correct brass fitting for the EGR tube to make it work?
