I have experience with the BFG's, Nittos, & M/T ET streets and out of all those I just bought my first pair of MT old tread.

The ET streets where overkill for my stock car and on an M6, You either bog ur run the risk of blowing your rear.

This Saterday Im going to Try the MT old treads and hope to pull a 1.9 or better 60 foot.

OP, you didnt really specify what the tires were for. Which will change peoples opinion. Theres a huge difference between a track/good weather tire and a DD tire.

If this is for a DD, you will not want to run M/T's or Hoosiers... ask me how i know. They are KILLER at the track, but for DDing... hit a little water and your done, snow... forget it! But i would have no fear doing either with the Nittos. Or even the BFG's, ive never ran them but ive got a few friends who wont run anything else to DD. I havent checked the cost lately, but last time i checked nittos were almost 1/3 cheaper then the BFG's.

If its a track only tire... M/T ET Streets got my TA a 1.4 60'

i used the old BFG DRs hated them 60mph i could spin the hell out of them. they were 315s at 20psi. they are also a full inch wide than the nittos (12in to 11in) which i run now. the nittos work very well for me. it also not just the tire guys that make your car hook it has alot more to do with the car setup. is lowered is it stock, spring, struts, sway-bars. if you have issuse with hooking try taking out your front sway bar and see what happens. its the little things that make your car hook not just the tires. so it really hard to say which one is better than a other. you need to find what works best for you
just my 2 cents

if your only catching 1.960's on m/t there is something wrong with you driving, i think my 4 cylinder ranger can pull that on a big tire,

i just got my new set of 305-35-18 m/t drag radials, they look a lot different more like the nittos, but feel soft as hell, so we will see.

Anyone get a price on the Toyo's? Discount gave me a quote and it was pretty high. I've been running the Nitto's in 275x17 on the stock SS rims, but really want to step up to a 315 if I don't have to roll the fender or BFH the inner well. Anyone got some feedback on the squeezing them on.

Also I found that M/T has a 295x45x17 (i belive) and I thought that may be a good option since the taller side wall may help out.

The Nitto's now are decent and if I really got on it at the track I know I could drop the 60's a few more tenths. On the street they do okay, although I've found that to much air is a bitch and wore the centers out very fast. I'd assume 25 lbs on the street would be a good starting point. I would run about 28-32 depending on how far I had to drive, trying to get better fuel economy.

So you run the 315's on 9.5 stock rims with no issues? If that's the case I'll order them on Monday. The M/T 295's are on back order until 4/7, so I don't know if I want to wait.

Post some feedback on the M/T's II's and what price did you find them at.

Also got to see the Toyo's first hand this weekend and they look like a nice tire, didn't get to BS with the guy about them, but they seemed to hook pretty good. I believe he was running M/T's the last time out.

well i heard from the goodyear team that these Eagle SS DOT drag radials will be coming out again in about a month or so with a brand new compound but same design. im waiting for a set of these. i mean if they have the worlds fastest slick im sure they will have the same quality on their drag radial
