Tell me about it! I heard some old guy once saying how he's never speeded in his C6Z06 because its scary and he likes the power for when he needs to pass a car in the freeway. I was like WTF!! Scary? Then why you buy it? I would drive the crap out of a z06, thats almost a track car for the street. What a waste of a beautiful car.

its done, kinda... it runs and drives, all gears work but there is clutch engagement issues sometimes is hard to go into any gear, i'm thinking either clutch or possibly input shaft which we had to use from the blown trans. he's gonna go easy on it for now in order to make the state line cruise and to last until the other trans is rebuilt.

Yeahh all sgv people are into ricers... LOL

Hey ya know sometimes the guys grow up and get a real car. My coworker started off with a 73 Nova and now has rice, quick rice, but it is still rice, he was givin me crap about buying an american car, I said hey anytime you want to race let me know his integra is only turbo'd and a best of 13.9 or something like that in the 1/4, he said his car is better for road course, I said well then your car is no competition for mine, but he would get on a road course cause I have never raced that way before.

Mehh ohh well to each their own.

definately not, scions and hybrids are trendy, f-bodies... and i mean real f-bodies with 8 cylinders have been for a rare breed of enthusiasts since the beginning of time. i've always loved them since grade school. i got on my knees and begged my grandparents to buy me my first car my junior year... a black 96 formula ws6 6spd. everybody else was doin the turbo eclipse or vtec honda thing and didnt even know what ws6 was. if anyting f-bodies are the opposite of trendy, and thats one of the reasons there so bad ***

i don't know about you guys but i have seen one of both in person and that's it. i went to high school with the two owners. I guess people don't have a healthy respect for LS1s anymore in my town. I have noticed however that gay ***, red, hard-topped, V6 automatic Mustangs are all over the place.

I pose a question to you guys: what's worse, a v-6 Camaro, a v-6 Mustang, or a ricer?

MACH 1's, cobra's are not seen as much

here ive only seen a couple of SS most are owned by older guys in there 40+ years..
