Default Simulated 1/4mi times on a Mustang Dyno

Hey guys, I just read on the CorvetteForum about a shop that offered simulated 1/4mi times on their Mustang Dynos. I guess there are other shops that offer that as well. Has anyone here heard or done something like that? I guess its just another form of bench racing but sounds interesting just for curiosity. They even say the dyno is accurate up to +/-0.01sec and +/-1mph. Is this for real?
