i bought it disassembled, reassembled it drove it about 4k miles then parked it under a cover, its going on three years haha i bought it just because it had a ls1

go with a new intake manifold, new cam, throttlebody, some headers, and tune it. that will put you in the 11's no problem. I know it might be hard getting the headers to pass smog, unless you go with some shorties. I'd watch out with those 410 gears. unless you wanna lose all top end driveability. might wanna go with 373's.

Do you mean because the tires wont get traction from spinning so fast at high rpm?
