If you only drive to and from LA to the IE twice a month Id stick with the 4.10s. 3.73s wouldnt be worth the 550.00 to change em.

long tubes, off road y pipe, exhaust cutout, and an ls6 intake should net you 25-35rwhp over your current setup and would prepare you for a cam swap in the future.

Right i c what you mean thanks, so thats what a gear swap is worth around 5 or 6 hundred? and thats with labor right or just for parts ... what brand of l/t's would you go with

in ur case pacesetters. gear swap labor is around 400 and you will need a rebuild kit along with the gears. go with g.m. gears.

gear swaps range from 500-600 parts and labor depending on where you have them installed.

Ill look into all these parts not all at once but ill be 4 sure looking for parts, so if any one out there has extra parts laying around for sale let me know the price and ill get back asap thanks guys keep the comments/suggestions coming

hit up e bay, they have stainless longtubes for $200. guys on here are using them with no problems

4.10 aren't much of a step honestly, i think 3.73s would hardly be noticeable. if i wasn't a nitrous setup i'd be sportin 4.56s instead of 4.11s. it doesnt change your mileage much, and i think it makes 6th gear alot more useable on the freeway around 60-65 mph.

Another thing is i would like to keep the car smog legal. Would it be with any issue using cats with lt's. Aside As it is right now with just the catback its pretty loud (cuz i took the cats off). But i will be throwing some high flow cats back on.
