Are you using aftermarket springs with stock GM seats?

yea... am going to check the height on that spring replacing it with a new one... And then comparing it to the rest..!! I think that would be the first step to keep on going on with it.. vs just pulling out the head and not knowing the springs didnt sit right..
If not..... then ill pull the head and start looking deeper..!! maybe a lifter..

yea.. i got the dual rev.. springs .....
no.. I think he set everything as a kit with seats,locks,reteiners.. ect.

Yeah, check all your spring pockets on the heads. There might be one breaking but might be others binding too or causing valve float.
