Default Man locks kids in trunk of his "Pontiac Trans Am"...

First off I hate media bias. And the exaggeration to sensationalize a story to grab people's attention flat out pisses me off. Secondly, I am making some assumptions here because the media failed to provide the whole story:

http://news.aol.com/article/michael-...nk-then/787722

In the video, it states "witnesses called after the kids were in trunk for a few minutes" (something like that). I would assume they saw the kids through the glass of the hatch (therefore, it's not a "trunk") unless there is some T/A model I am unaware of that has a transparent trunk or they waited a few minutes before calling the cops (not likely). Additionally, I don't know if this was on purpose, but they show a Grand Am driving away, obviously we see the "trunk" (but of a Grand Am).

Further proof of media exaggeration (is that a Trans Am in the pic ):

The point I'm getting at is this is not a story unless it's exaggerated by stating "kids locked in trunk". If the truth is told, and I'm still unsure what that is, the story is "dad leaves kids unattended in car", then it doesn't make the news or even grab very much attention.

welcome to America. if the story's not good enough, then the media will make it good enough.

Lol... Check out the comments in the second link... pretty funny watching feminists, homophobes, Christians, athiest, democrats and republicans argue.

Someone make an account and show these people what a transam/camaro hatch looks like.

On a side note, my sons like going in the hatch portion too. I don't know if they like "trunks" though.

I thought of the convertible angle and older gen fbody too, but for a witness to call police minutes after it happened would lead me to believe they saw the kids in there, since no mention was given of hearing the kids in the trunk or of seeing the kids being placed in the trunk.

Time will tell once the whole story comes out.

People are retarded, and we see examples everyday.. I know nothing about this, so who knows what kind of car it was, but after a certain year, im pretty sure it is mandatory to have a trunk release inside, so people cant be locked in the trunk..

[Rant]You know what really grinds my gears? *** clowns that get a tiny bit of information and feel like they were fucken THERE!!! Jesus christ, those people are fucken retarded!! No offense to the mentally disabled either, i dont want to insult them! Good god people, lets think before we get all uppity about some dumb ****, you THINK you know.. [/Rant]
