The Beauty of LSX Motors Hey All,
I'm posting this here instead of in the videos section since it's about racing at two different tracks in So Cal.
This video is by one of the guys on the Vette forums... two 11 second C6 Vette's (one Z06, on 'regular' C6) that race the road course at Fontana and the drag strip at Famoso (in Bakersfield) on the same day. I think it really shows how driveable these motors can be, even in deep 11 second cars!
It's also awesome that they're doing this in December. California does have its perks...
Once I get my Camaro back on its feet, I'd love to do this type of thing with a few different tracks, like Irwindale-Fontana-Bakersfield-Sacramento, over a few days or all within the same week? It would be kind of like the Hot Rod Drag week event that they have in the midwest!
