Anyone in Ca with Koni's?

I'm in San Luis Obispo right now going to school, but drive back home to Modesto all the time. If there's anyone with Koni shocks close to either of those (or in between), that wouldn't mind showing me how they drive, I'd appreciate it.

Reason is, I would have about enough money to get some once I get my tax returns back, and I have a whole list of things I want to buy haha. I'm just thinking that seeing how they handle and ride will make my decision more definitive. I'd offer a six pack for taking your time to do so, but being only 19 makes that a little tough haha.

Also interested in hearing some people with true duals, cats or no cats, dumped or out the back, doesn't matter. I've listened to them online, but I know hearing them in person is going to sound different.

-Thanks, Brandon.

I got Koni's, but you're a bit too far.

99Bluz28 Mar 5, 2010 12:28 AM

I'm right here in Madera, I just finished up putting Koni SA's up front with new Hypercoil 625 springs. The only thing stock on my suspension is the front upper A-arms.

99bluz28 is the man to talk to he knows his suspension

hey ive got them too. i have the 4/4. :P

OP not sure if you know 4/3 means the fbody gen they are for (4th gen front, 3rd gen rear) because the 3rd gen rears work on 4th gen, but arent adjustable from inside the car like the 4th gen ones are.

CaliforniaBoy5 Mar 5, 2010 11:14 AM

Dude, try to come down to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank some Friday night (this one?). We're always there from 10pm -12am and can answer ALL your questions and you can ride in multiple Koni cars and here my dual exhaust in person...

I have a set of koni yellows for sale off of my 01 WS6. I have a new set of QA1's and dont need the Konis anymore. I go to Sonora and Tuolumne for family all the time. Give me a call. 209-559-7342. C. J.

sick02ss & 99bluz28: Next time I come home I'll send ya a pm (if I rememeber lol)

6LE: I am really tempted to come down. Maybe if I can talk some friends into coming with me I might. I have work tomorrow morning though, but I still may come, it's just up in the air haha. Your seats are on my long list of parts too lol. I have a feeling my pocket book would be a little lighter after getting to see how all the things I'm thinking about buying perform, sound and feel. :jest:

Just get the konis you won't be sorry. Ride is way better than stock and handling will be better as well. I have the 4/4 with ground control coilovers. I autox my car though. So I probably wouldn't be the best to ride with as my ride is setup to stay flat in corners.

sandsk8erz400 Mar 5, 2010 06:09 PM

C.J.: I have family up in Tuolumne as well haha. I'm in class right now, but I'll give ya a call sometime this weekend.

-Thanks
