GI: Swap built and stalled A4 for T56
I want to see if anyone local to L.A or SoCal is wanting to go A4 from T56. My trans was built by Johnny at Xtreme Performance transmissions, it is the street/strip trans that is good for up to 600 hp. The stall is a 3800 stall from FTI, the email from Greg Samuels "Adam thanks for the inquiry,
The converter I would recomend is the SRLS series billet 9.5" converter set at 3800. The part # is SRLS6391. This converter has our exclusive 21 blade stator. This converter has a billet lock up piston and a billet cover with fully furnace brazed fins and hand tig welded fins. These converters are internally and externally balanced." It has worked well for me daily driving but I kind of really am looking to go T56.
With the swap you get a trans temp gauge, 13,000 BTU trans cooler, and everything needed to go A4, I can do most of the work if not all of it.
What I require is the person is local and we can meet up easily to do this. I would ask that you get your trans checked out to make sure its all good to go as my trans was rebuilt about 3 or 4 months ago and about 1.5k miles ago by Johnny as my old converter killed the trans.
Please PM me or post in here if you are interested, thank you.

That may be the better route. It sometimes cost a bit more to piece it together, but (for me, at least) it is easier to spend a couple hundred here and there instead of $1500+ at once. You can then sell you A4 afterward when someone is looking and in the need for one and get some cash when you need it later.

Yeah, after the Tbird I miss having a manual trans, and if I want to build a race car, I will look to do something more along the th400 route with a gnarly engine in front of it lol.
Still searching lol, hopefully I can get someone locally interested haha.
