I am looking to meet up with someone in the Bay Area who owns a 5th Gen Camaro with basic bolt-ons. I test drove both the automatic and stick Camaro SS and I was really unimpressed with the stock performance. My understanding is that these really wake up with basic mods, and I wanted to see how they feel in the real world. I am not looking to do anything crazy, just get a feel for how the car accelerates.
