Default Anyone ever go to Adams motorsport park?

I just ran across this place in a magazine and noticed that it's actually a local road course. They do tnt every other tuesday and drift thursdays. Just wondering if anyone has tried it out. Might be a fun place to test out my buick when it's ready.

That's exactly where I saw it. Says they let cars race every other tuesday and thursday. Time attack and drift on different days.

It's fun but it's hard on your brakes and suspension since it's small. Definitely a assload of fun for 20 bucks. Also the entrance blows watch out for foot deep potholes and be prepared to be schooled by evos. post up if anyone rolls since I live an exit away

this sounds like fun and somewhat of a good place to benchmark the suspension and see where it needs the most improvement. (mine would be bumper to bumper starting with the paint).

If you haven't pushed your car, an autocross is probably a better place to learn since when you go off course, you don't hit a wall or a gravel pit...

Was looking at some videos and the road course seems a lot smaller than the drift course. Wonder if they open it up more depending on your level of driving.

I have pushed it before plenty but its a big difference pushing limits of the car on farm roads and canyons than it is on a track. I preffer the track, its a lot more fun when you don't have to worry about oncoming traffic or cliffs or like you said, gravel pits and walls. Also, its not far to get there like it would be for Willow Springs in case you break something and have to "limp" back.

Yeah, except when I said gravel pits and walls, I was talking about road courses. In Autocross you end up killing a cone or two and sliding on pavement till you regain control. On a road course you can go off track and into a stopping pit or even a wall if you're going fast enough.

I'll go once I get a better power steering pump & cooler, fix the knock sensor issue, and get some proper size hardened pushrods. Oh, and maybe an alignment. lol. I wanna get some autox time in with this new setup before heading to Adam's. I hear it's a pretty tight course.

Lets go to Willow and really push your car, Not AutoCross!. (Say no to cones) lol I wanna see what your car can do up there. If you go off the road you wont damage much if anything. Super fun, and you pull some sick G's on the turns.
(Why I immediately bought a Corbeau Seat Right after my first run up there)

P.s. No walls to hit at willow.

Our cars will do a lot better on More open courses not tight ones like Adams.

Agreed. Another reason for the PS pump and cooler. Although I'd want to rebuild the stock 176k mile 10-bolt before going to Willow just because it's a long *** drive to find a spare 10-bolt. I'd probably suck, but it'd be fun anyways, and none of that short course import BS down here. Have you looked into the El Toro SCCA events? They usually have horsepower-friendly courses there.
