If my car is going to be almost a half second slower than when Fontana was open, I'd rather not race there at all. If the weather is not going to lead to 130* IATs and heat exhaustion, then I might be interested. :D |
Why would your car be half a second slower? Pomona is lower altitude and has better DA than Fontana, when it was open for Street legals people that I talked to were posting times consistent with Irwindale. If I still have the auto in my car then maybe I will have to check it out. |

Same as Fontana, they get DA's around the same if not worse, plus track prep is not as good. |
My best time at Fontana was a 2750 DA and it was 2 tenths slower than Irwindale a few days later... Apples to apples, no track is going to produce good times when its 95+ outside. |
