expired plates for 9 years
so im talking to this guy who is selling me this 59 chevy apache, the tags are expired since 2003 and owes about $850 in late fees, i heard tho that after 10 years that all clears up and there would be no fees or anything, i would just need to register the truck and not pay the fees. has anyone heard bout this?
i figured id fix up the truck 1st and by that time it would be 10 years and avoid paying the 8-900 bucks of late fees

just tow it to AZ and register it there. I register all my vehicles in UT, no BS like CA. I bought a car for my wife and they wanted 600 in back fees, took it to UT and they charged me 135.00 to register it for the year.
