My wheels on the front are 15x3.5 with a 1.75" backspace and they fit fine when you use a simple 5/16" spacer. You will not even need longer studs. I am utilizing the factory studs on the front.

that should be fine on the street. NHRA rules say if it is an 1/2" stud then it needs to come out of the nut 1/2". Another other words whatever the diameter of the studs is, needs to come out of the nut by the same or more. Some tracks dont enfoce it though.

Interesting. What about if you use a shank style lugnut like these? Cause these are what I use on the fronts. The rears are like you said. 1/2" studs with nuts.

Those are fine, I use to run those. Somethimes I would have issues at the track with tech guys. They hold fine, I replaced to longer studs for them not to question at all. you can leave your OEM style wheels on for tech, then replace them after you pass tech, (what i did)
