Have any of you guys on Oahu gone through the new safety inspection system? Also, what are the specifics of motor swap laws? Ive heard from some its ok as long as you keep the same number of cylinders and I've also heard from others that it can only be from a same or newer gen body style. Originally moved up to Oregon for college and I'm bringing my 99 Camaro back home after graduation in the next year or two. Just curious because I may be doing a turbo lq4 setup.

the place i went to didn't even pop my hood for the safety inspection....besides how would they even know if it is from the same gen or bodystyle? I doubt they would really know
