that would be fun. Why don't we just meet there at a normal track day though... other people and their rides don't bother me.

I'm down for both, but would prefer the private track.

Private track. Last time I was there for a test and tune, I got there at 7:00 and left at midnight after only getting two runs in. But it was the second to last week before they shut down test and tune for the winter.
Here's there website Brian

apparently you have never been to Famoso.. It gets crazy full of little 16 second imports quick. A normal test and tune will have 200 cars or so. Its the only drag strip in the central valley. So thats alot of tune time with little real test time.

I was at a private track event in Fontana in November and it was great. No B.S., just serious guys who came to run. The only way to go IMO.

We had a private track day at Famoso 12-04-04 had 77 people show @ $100 each, several from the HP Tuners boards approx 18 Corvettes and several Mustangs in fact here is the list of "Who showed up" http://www.n2sracing.com/famoso/registered.htm
anyhow I think the "break even" point is 55 @ $100 each. I am definately in for a Private track day at Famoso...

You guys are right about it being busy sometimes for Test & Tune, which usually sucks but the 25 & 26th of Feb is the last test & tune before the March Meets which again is good and bad... Bad - cuz it is busy.... Good - cuz there are some pretty bitchin cars and dragsters that you can check out..

Either way I am looking to get a piece of a couple Radix powered trucks!

whenever you guys get this 2nd meet figured out post it up on SS.com... we're down to go again for sure!

BTW: nice meeting you guys... sorry the SS train showed up 'fashionably' late, but it was still a great time!

there was about 13 SSs, maybe 10 other GM trucks, and alot of those "high dollar cars". it was a really good turnout.

The lounge does not apply to your post count. Keeps the post ****** honest.
