I need help deciding here, so i am going to ask what you guys think, should i stay with the 408 i got and keep spraying it??, or should i build a 427, Ls7 headed solid roller (600rwhp possible n/a), or should i do a freshen up on my 408, make it low compression, put a&a's new ysi vortech kit on it 800+rwhp potential.

$7000 shipped.
By long block which parts do you mean to exclude?
Long blocks are shortblock, heads, valvetrain and timing set.
But I would like the manifold to stay with the heads.
So, I'd say $16500 for the long block.(Incl.- Shortblock with Jesel TBS, Heads assembled, Jesel RR's, Valve covers if you want them, Hogan Manifold, TB, and choice of two cams I have.
Delivered as long as that's Murietta, CA, not GA.

how big is the smaller cam, would a nick willaims ls1 90 mm bolt up to the intake??, yeah i would want all the valvetrain, and such. i see it has aluminum rods , hmm... any way you could swap those out for a high quality steel rod, i heard those arent to good for any sort of street use.
