Default Thinking of moving to Pomona CA any advice?

Ok currently i live in st louis mo. I have a h/c full bolt on a3 nitrous car, here i can drive the thing on the street, no issues, no cats, its a far cry from emmissions...but here for emissions all they do is scan for dtc's and everything i have done is tuned out therefore its fine, How is the racing scene in that area, just wanted to get some ideas on the car scene, it has to be better than here thats for sure, but we have some pretty serious cars out here as well. just wanted to know if there would be any way in hell i could maybe drive it on the street here and there out there

Yeah, I was going to do that,I just heard they are very strict on modified cars, and mine is a little far gone....its a dual purpose street car in my eyes haha. I just love to drive the car, and have heard so many horror stories it almost scares me to move out there haha...

Make sure to bring a GAT, it gets rough in da hood.

LOL... They are pretty cool with domestics up there, you'll just hate all the rice you'll see on the 10.

i mean my cams pretty big (242/250 595/603) so its pretty loud, the 4,400 stall doesnt seem to make it any quieter hahaha its true duals now, but im gonna go with a different setup soon and just use the 2ft of pipe the bullets and bolt em on so i can uncork it at the track

you most likely wont have a problem in either chino hills or pomona. as far as competitive driving you may find it at the track sometimes but really there arent too many fast cars.

ok living in chino hills for 4 years. chino for 16. i know that area pretty well. yes there are a lot of fast cars out there... and yes cops are crackin down on fast cars.. but! mostly on the rice sorta thing... they really dont mess with camaros mustangs and what not.. .most of pomona is crooked anyways ... well with cops and all.... ive never gottin a ticket there.. cops are racial as hell. theyll pull over a mexican or black person over before a white person anyday.. i pasted a van full of mexican doing 70 in a 35 right in front of a cop and the cop pulled over the van for going to slow..... thats the kinda **** im talkin about lol ... but al and all its a nice place to live

however, if you get pulled over, and they see you have NOS componets hooked up, you don't even have to have a bottle on it, if you just have the nozzels hooked up, they can impound your ****. but, i think they do crack down more on the ricers. that loud lawnmower sounds is so damn annoying.
