Phoenix F-bodies FTW....
Ok guys, lets keep this one clean...No useless posts like in the other one, I am placing the blame on every one of us, especially myself...That one page of just me posting was the exact reason why our thread was deleted...
I have been given the Ok to discuss our meets, plans, and Fbody related information/ discussion...
If anyone from an outside thread comes in again with the name calling, personal attacks, and useless wasting of time/bandwidth for the site, just ignore it...We are better men than that...Don't let other people get under your skin so easily...
So just behave, or you will have to deal with me in person...

I'll start off with the car related discussion...
Post AFR 205cc head install, the car is still way rich...It will do a little hesitation in the lower RPM's, especially cruising the highway...Give it full throttle, and the car just screams to redline now...I think with a little weight removal, it should see an 11 second pass without an issue...
But I do need to buy a cam, and have Chris take the car again...Then this thing will be ready to rock...Then I just need a good tune, and we're ready to roll...

Just ask Chris, and his one pissed off roomate who came out at 5:30 am bitching at how loud it was...
For a stockish like cam, it sounds mean...You'll all hear it this weekend I'm sure...Perhaps wednesday night we can all get together and fix my exhaust leak...

I can tell it's running rich because of A. I can smell the excess gas being wasted B. I feel the hesitation from too much fuel C. At idle, it will just randomly pop, from some leftover fuel igniting in the exhaust..
It's definitely getting too much fuel in the low/midrange...Up top it feels pretty good...After a tune, it will be happy...

Here is a suggestion, maybe you guys will consider.
Instead of having these conversations about 1000 different topics in one thread (the last thread was 141 pages long), how come you guys don't just create new threads about each separate event or gathering, about your cars and stuff?
Look in the Texas forum, we create new threads every day in there. Each event usually gets its own thread. People post threads about their cars, etc...

Honestly, i think it would be easier to keep it in one thread...Isn't it less clutter that way?

ya i would thnk if we had a new thread for every topic we talk about... it would be madness, the western section would be cluttered to no extent. not trying to be a pain in the *** or anything, but how would us posting a different thread for each topic better than putting it all in one thread? that just doesnt make sense.wouldnt it result in the same bandwith issues and everything?

That's what I was thinking...And have the thread title read Phoenix Fbodies 5/8-5/14 or something...
Chris, i'm gonna get you a job today...You want to fix a minor exhaust leak wednesday night? I've narrowed it to the Y pipe to catback 4" merge that is too far inside the pipe...I can also pick up those LS1 heads and bring them home...
