Default Perris drags "tuner showdown" 25th

Is anyone coming out for this?

Only tuner cars. They have $250 for best ET, $100 best RT, $150 best 60' , and $200 for best mph. Same 20 to get in.

I'll be there.

Had the sponsor come in the store I work at and talk to us about it, but from what he said it was a Import shootout type thing. But o well it doesn't make a differance. Money is money

It'd make my day to watch the LS1's run away with the "tuner" class, haha.

THIS IS OPEN TO ALL 86 AND NEWER FUEL INJECTED CARS!

By "tuner" they are Keeping the BIG BLOCK Muscle Cars out of the loop.

It's 25 to race 12 to watch

Don't be surprised some of the "tuners" can outdrag Cammed + Sprayed F-body's on slicks!

How far away is the track from Camp Pendleton? Are they strict on tech? Will I get shut down for low 10's without a cage?

You won't get shut down for jack, as long as you have headlights, Breaks, and your battery is in there tight you can pass tech.

It's about a 45 min drive.

Sounds like fun. I can't get off work in time to get the car Race Ready though. I guess I'm driving to Qualcom to watch tonight, and getting the car and trailer ready for Barona tomorrow.

Thanks though.

I wonder if a 1.45 60ft is enough to win the 60ft $ ?

Anybody going?

1.45 will definately do it, closest "tuner" car to that is me with a 1.472.

I'll be out there, i met you a while back with Ryne when he broke his Vetter ar Irwindale and you towed him hime, i had the black coupe.

Cool

What is your setup car? This car that I am taking is an M6 Camaro and I am not sure if the 1.45 is with the back tires or not but it carries them for awhile and even comes back up going into 2nd gear.Should be fun see you out there.

Won't the AWD cars have an advantage in this category?

I wanna know if the @large racing models are fat chicks.
