I know of some really fun highway runs near the area. Up in saratogo, Hwy 9 for the twisty guys and hwy 35 for some turns but really long straight aways. I know a lot of routes. Hopefully I can make it this weekend.

huh? but GTO's come with independant rear suspension, which should be better in the twisties compared to our solid rear axles on our f-bodys

Seriously the only thing is they are heavier so maybe they push more? Who knows. My buddy auto x'd his goat with 500rwhp and it did well. He had shocks, springs and race tires it was the most comfortable auto x car ever!! LOL I love those GTO seats.

Anyways twisties!!! HaHa

yeah I know. It's just that the weight makes a huge difference. 3800-4000 lbs with different drivers in it....that's a lot to ride on minimal tire width.

GTOs are set up really well. The only two faults are that the weight is so high and the tires are small as hell. (3720 is very high for a car w/smallass tires and soft stock suspension).

Just those two things make a huge difference. If it weren't for those two things, the GTO's 50.5/49.5 weight split and IRS would be amazingly useful
