I just found out that one of my grade school, JR high, High school buddie that i known for ever lost his life Sat night i thought this one was the same one cuz he had that same truck but he lost control going from the 605 and 5 freeways its gonna be a very hard time for his family and your friends family sorry for your lost

I just got out of the hospital and I'd like to thank everyone who sent me PMs to show their support. I'm gonna miss my baby, she was my everything.

Here's the story:

I was driving to my Grandmas house for thanksgiving dinner, I was a little late, but nothing too bad.

I was doing about 70-75, which seemed fine since there was little/no traffic around (long straight country road) when I caught up to a white chevy impala (around 06) he was driving a little bit slower than me so I decided I'd just go around him. So, like usual, I accelerated a bit and got in the opposite lane and attempted to pass. When I got about a carlength from his car, he flew over into my lane and cut me off so I wouldnt pass him. In my mind I'm thinking WTF is going on man, I'm just passing! I tapped my brakes and moved back into my lane, and the next thing I knew, he slowed down and got right next to me and started running me off the road. I had a split second to react, and my first reaction was to move over a little (bad idea)

My passenger side tires hit the dirt and my car went sideways, I over corrected and my car flipped to the other side and went straight into the dirt. I remember looking out my window and seeing a road sign coming straight towards me. I closed my eyes just as my passenger door snapped the sign in half. The front tires hit a small dip and my car went rolling. It rolled 3-4 times before it finally came to a stop right side up. I felt helpless, all I could do was wait it out.

I opened my eyes, and my first reaction was to see if I was paralyzed. Moved my fingers, that's good I looked down at my legs and they wouldn't move, I kept trying and trying, and I almost lost hope until I saw my ankle twist a little bit. I waved down a car and they pulled me out and set me on the ground. Before I knew it I was in the ER at KDDH.

5% hole in my right lung, and a small one in my left
Sprained right ankle
My right knee is tender/sore from slamming against the console
Extremely sore neck from getting tossed around so much
Fractured ribs along the sternum
Internal bleeding in my stomach
Abrasions and cuts from the safety belt
A whole lotta bumps, and bruises

Overall, I'm just so happy to still be alive, my car gave her life to save me. There was someone watching over me that day, I've never been a religious person, but to still be here, alive, is a blessing. Everyone at Kaweah Delta was telling me that I was lucky, since most people don't survive a rollover like that.












Oh, and had just missed hitting a power pole by about 5 feet
