I did mine in the 99. I thought it would be harder, but not all that bad..I fixed the stupid door cracks while I was at it too.

I did the drivers side motor last year. I got my motor online from Autozone. It wasn't too bad, banged up my knuckles a bit but thats all.

I got mine at Autozone. Went for the Siemens, but they changed that part # to a Doorman (I think).

After reading the write-ups and talking to NineFinger, I was prepared, until I saw screws instead of rivets. That was the hardest part, getting those f'ing screws off.

It helps if you have another set of hands and the right tools.

How did you fix the cracks Dan? Did you take it to an upholstery shop? I'd like to get that done in the future.

The one I got at Autozone had a lifetime warranty as well. I'd be afraid with ebay lifetime warranties because technically, if you purchased it through ebay, your recourse is limited to ebay and paypal's complaint timeframe.

In other words, after 60-90 days (I think that's the timeframe), if you contact the company they could say "f off", and your only recourse would be small claims court. Ebay/Paypal won't do a thing for you.
