I got called out by a guy with a silverado So on another forum i posted my dyno tune results. he accused me of posting flywheel numbers (328/364) even though i posted pics from haddads shop with my car hooked up to the dyno and dyno graphs.
so after a few back and forth posts, he said that his 5.3L truck will dyno more rwhp than my camaro with the same mods. I know he has headers and he dynoed at 300 hp (i assume rwhp, IE not calculated) but im not sure if thats before or after headers.
he also said that people on the camaro forums probably called bullshit on my numbers. I tried to explain that we all know that the LS1 was under rated, but he wont listen.
so he said that im too chicken to put $500 on the bet about who has more hp. I told him it needs to be the same mods, same dyno, same day.

Unless hes got a 224/224 on a 114 or a 115 idling at 900 or so that you can't hear or something similar that hes not telling you about and is looking to make a quick buck off you.....

he knows he will loose a race, thats why hes talking about dyno numbers. he is a BS king honestly, thats why i want to shut him up by accepting the challenge. i know he doesnt have a cam in it, I doubt hed even think of using a new cam.

Same day me and you go over to haddads and tune my truck and dyno it.
But we will do this first, dyno it before we tune it and dyno it after we tune it.
Oh and if you dont believe I can out power your 7 year old LS1 with a little 5.3L truck engine good luck ive seen 4 cyl put ls1's to shame. But of well.

A race would be too easy because we know who will win. When I had my old 2001 S10 with a 4.3L Vortec V6 in it, I could pull on the new 325HP 5.3L Silverados and they'd barely pass me after 60MPH or so by about a car length and hold steady.
Just get the dyno over and done with, so this guy will get over himself. It's a stupid argument to be honest.

ill post up the date we set to do this at haddad ms.
itll be embarassing if he wins. it looks like he hit 300 hp on a stock motor on Haddads dyno.

+1!!! bragging about dyno#'s is truely lame. he is either a complete moron for thinking that a smaller motor thats tuned with the intent of going into atruck will make more power than an ls1 made with performance in mind.... or hes trying to scam you by having mods you dont know of. either way its kinda loose loose for you, know what i mean.... hes questioning your#'s and trying to bait you in, dont take it unless you KNOW you will win. if he thinks his truck is so almighty tell him to line em up or STFU.
