saw it on a chevey blaze a big *** vette emblem on the trunk.....guess to match his 17 inch z06 c5 rims that were sticking out at least 3 inches on all sides LOL

As for me I have a hitch cover of the C5 emblem on my 08 Trailblazer SS. Since I also own a 99 Vette vert. I show it of for the pride of owning and having a vette.

I really like the emblem and I feel that it stands for performance...however I agree and dont like them on camaros or trucks. I also dont like the corvette calipers on camaros that still sport the "corvette". I plan on using the corvette calipers but removing the corvette cast.

im sure people just don't know the history of the emblem, or care, and just slap it on because it simply looks cool. now what i dont get, is why the freak do ricers ride around on 4 donut wheels?

^^^ cuz regular rims and tires are to heavy to turn. how else can they do a burn outs if they aren using donuts?

i was just reading a book on GM muscle cars, and the 1966 chevelle (or some, it was on every car in the book )has the emblem on the fenders.

The flags are the same but backwards, plus the C5 emblem has an oval behind them too. Point is, if they didnt come on your car from the factory, dont put them on.

I think most of us aggree that there are almost identical flags that came stock on a camaro and chevelle as mentioned.

I agree too. I always see it on silverado's and tahoe's out here... It annoys the hell out of me.

Its the same a putting a Type R badge on a Honda Oddesey...

The flags on those cars are backwards compared to the vette(vette= checkerd flag first). They are not the same. Buy a magnifying glass and look!
