Just Got Back From Strictly Performance
It's been a long road for my CETA since the fateful day that I quit going to Charlie at RPM Motors in Santa Clarita... my experience there was the worst I have ever encountered in any place of business. I will post about RPM Motors in another thread. I left RPM Motors with my car blowing black smoke, SES light flashing, and my car wanting to stall on the freeway. Prior to saving my car from Charlie, I checked the sponsors of ls1tech to see who had a good rep and could take me right away... this is how I found Strictly Performance.
Rob, Sean and the rest of the guys at Strictly have been great. Everything on my car is due to their knowledge and care in what they do. They have helped guide me in my decisions and done an excellent job applying their skills. Today was my first day with my Yank SS3600 (I had to wait to afford this after having done the heads/cam) and it made me see just how far the CETA has come.

There are two sides to every story and a quick phone call brought me the other side.
Apparently you had them do a tune to the trans shifting points after a gear install and prior to that a "street tune" of which you were extremely happy with.
However, when you wanted them to install long tubes and they decided not to, instead insisting you come take the car back the way you brought it, heated words with your boyfriend ensued & they knew the best decision was to not deal with his ego and unfortunately that meant you and your car.
Anybody wanting confirmation of what I posted needs only to call RPM.

As many of you may know, charlie and i work closely together on a few deals, and i have known charlie for nearly 5 years. and i would know that charlie would never let a car leave like that........... but i do remember him telling me about a yellow convert TA that he was putting headers on, and apparently the owner of the car is some douchebag guy, that when he got on the phone with charlie, charlie told him aftr much arguing, to come and pick up your car........ with the headers not done. charlie just informed me that he did not even fully tune the car.... he just road tuned it and got the shift tables and fuel trims in line after the gear swap that he preformed for you. i think maybe you should tell the whole story, before making accusations like this. you werent saving your car. ( or your girls car lol) , charlie actually kicked your *** out of his shop.
