with heads and a 224-228 114+2 you should be able to hit 400rwhp

HP, yes. Torque, I'm not sure. Might wanna ask some of the cam gurus to help u out here. My guess is you're gonna need to go aggressive on the lobes/lift to get the numbers you want in the powerband you want. I'll look up Predator and/or Pat G for this one. Good luck!

Oh and u asked about the +2 after the LSA, that means there's a 2* advance ground into the cam.

why just do a ms3 or 4 cam? Joser passed the 400rwhp.

yeah he did, but i want more power down low, no diss on the MS3 but that a hight peak cam, an i dont want that..

that cam should give you good hp around 3k if i'm not misstaken.that's low enough.lol!

lol.. true, but that cam is just a lil too aggressive for my taste. i love how it sounds, and i dont DD my car but if i ever decide to, then i need something that wont surge below city RPMs

dude. Import slayer Has a trex cam on his T/a and its his DD.he never complains about it,but I get what you're saying.

i'd say should hit 410ish area maybe a lot more depending what shop you go dyno at. Dyno numbers are overated, I use the dyno to check af and let the track tell me how the cars doing. Tr224 is a great track cam, not sure if i would have went with a fast 92 on that set up but car should work very nicely(i'd personally throw in a g5x3 on that set up)

arnt there any more bolt on things you can do?

-Bigger Ratio roller rockers
-Ported TB
-underdrive pulleys
-pro status tune.

not to take business away from Ryne, but ive always thought it to be possible to get to the 400's without internal work. Thats just me though.

either way get the cam

i dont know nick, and i wont find out cuz i am going to piece everything together and put it all at the same time over in my garage(RMS)


wes, where did you get the timing chain, cuz i am looking fot one and cant find it

And what is "everything"??? Believe it or not i have an LS1 timing chain off a 2001 LS1

EDIT: just read your looking for an LS2 chain.
