May be headed to Vegas
Hello everyone,
I was planning on making my way over to Las Vegas for a few days. For those that are usually in the area, what are some good 3-4 star hotels in the area for reasonable prices, and what are the best things to see there (besides the gambling tables and slots?)
I am 21, my significant other is 20. Please let me know if her age prevents her from doing certain things that I can do... besides drink

Price ranges always vary, weekly rates at most the big hotels are gonna be fairly similar.
Take a place like the Venetian- 4 star , 5 diamond resort. $219 a night for the regular room. Which is a very nice place but thats a lot of money for a week.
If ur drivin the Fbody and you wanna swing by on your way in we meet across from the Palms sunday evening ( Sonic on flamingo ) We'll be having a car club meet. Im sure you can get plenty of advise from the 20 + - people there. =) more than I think u'll get posting here.
What time are you comin in on Sunday?
Id plan on staying a few different hotels if you dont have that many bags to move around. See the different sights and stay on 2 different parts of the strip. What brings you to Vegas?

wow, you're going on the wroooooong days!
the prices are better, so that's good, but you're missing all the action. you need to go fri-monday. that's when all clubs are the best and rehab (at the hard rock pool) is poppin on sunday.
also, any more than 3 nights in vegas and you'll be HATING life. i can barely do two nights there any more...good luck man.

Venetian has a special rate right now for $199/nt. (weekend rate)
Cut-paste from email:
• Complimentary upgrade to Exclusive Golden Circle seating at Phantom
• 15% off wine purchase of $50 or more at Enoteca San Marco
• Complimentary Salumi Platter for the table with purchase of Dinner at B & B Ristorante
• $8 off admission at Madame Tussauds
• 20% off Gondola ride
• Exclusive Suite Upgrade Specials
I'd say **** it and find a cheap room. The Tuscany Suites have nice, large rooms, walking distance to the strip, and has a casino and restaurant. And you'll save some cash.
If you're hell-bent on a nice hotel, do what David suggested.

Well, my girlfriend and I are about to celebrate both our 3 year anniversary, and me graduating from college. Since cruises are too much and I haven't gotten my passport, Vegas was an interesting choice.
I appreciate all of the advice.
