Default Near Disaster at the Track Today - California Speedway

My buddy and I were out filming runs at California Speedway today, and a SN95 Cobra with 600+ RWHP lost it at about the 1000ft mark, almost hit the Fox Body Stang next to him and then recovered :uh oh: Here is the video for anyone that wants to see the almost carnage. Watching it in real time I thought for sure he was going to tag the other car or the wall .

I talked to the fox body drive right afterward - he's a really nice guy. His hands were shaking pretty bad though. He said all the sudden he saw this black blur sweeping into his lane. He didn't remember letting off though, but judging by the MPH he obviously did.

I imagine if he'd have touched the brakes it'd been done for.
