On other forums, Most of the time, I hear people talk about "Killing" a Z06.... about 90% of the time, it turns out to be a regular Vette.

"His SS" or "a SS"? A regular SS - it should because it has the same engine with a lighter body. His SS - LS1 =/= cammed LS1.
Savior - I always knew of the mod, just hadn't seen in on a car before yours. I really don't know why more people don't do it.

But even one of my tuners (Charlie @ RPM) said he's never seen another intake only Z06 make as much power as my car & that my car is making the numbers it takes others intake/headers/and tune to make. So the Ziptie must be doing something.

****.. actually I dont have any, But yeah you can see the naked filter held on by 2 super long Zipties.. (each super long ziptie is really 2 zipties connected to make 1)
But after you do the ziptie mod, you wanna put the Hood Seal on too, to protect the filter from water and dust from getting into the engine bay.
