Default Help me choose a drag radial

I've been on the search for a good drag radial the last couple of days. (meaning not Nittos) The only one's I've found are the BFGs and the Hoosiers. Everything else is back ordered for at least a month. So I'm wondering which would be best for me. They'll only be used for the track and the drive to the track which is an 1 1/2hr at most. Here are the tread styles:

BFGs 275/40/17

Hoosier 275/40/17

Let me know which you'd run if you were in my place.

I'd run neither, id get some mickey thompson drag radials, and they have a 295/45/17 that fits nicely and works like a champ!

M/T only way to go. But why would you even consider that BFG over that Hoosier?

Hell I drove to the track on ET streets (cheater slick) just aired them up to around 22-24 and lowered them when I got there and aired them back up before leaving.

i would say if your only wanting to go between these two and your looking to run it on the street all the time i would say go with the bfg drag radial. but in my opinion i wouldnt do either. i would do the mt et street radial.

Don't think I'd be very comfortable driving a slick all that way on the road, and we couldn't find any MT ET Street Radials anywhere (was my first choice).

Its not too bad, just don't do any aggressive cornering or a lot of high speed runs and you will be fine. Maybe find someone around you that has them and see if you can try them out.

Or the best drag radial to try is the M&H drag radials, they work better than the M/T's but do cost a little more. Call S.T. Motorsports for those or M/T's he is a dealer for them. the number is 909-388-2536

Damn how do I edit the poll to add the cheater slicks? O and the speed limit all the way to the track is 75mph. I usually go 80... so with these cheater slicks I should slow down a bit eh?
