I like the idea if the purpose is to increase public safety, I don't like it when it's sole purpose is to generate revenue under the guise of increasing safety.
It also irritates me that a private company financially benefits from it: "The vendor for the expanded program, Redflex Traffic Systems, will get about $20 million, according to DPS Director Roger Vanderpool."
