craziest thing happened at irwindale last night...i was lined up to get my car inspected for the tack...there was a clean ss chevelle behind me...got out of my car to check out the chevellle when i notice a '69 fiberglass dragster maro from afar heading toward our lane...seems like he bleeped on the throttle and out of nowhere it just jumps forward at full throttle...i fucken turned around, ran and didnt look back...he tried swerving to the left away from the chevelle but caught the corner of the bumper...lifts the chevelle's rear tires off the ground and turns it to the point where it is perpendicular to my car...i almost shat myself...i prayed it didnt hit my car but was pretty sure it did...i rushed toward the chevelle and asked th guy if he was ok and realize his door is 3 inches away from my rear bumper...he had to crawl over and get out through the passenger side...i had just gotten my car painted and clorsanded and then something like this happens...i guess it was my lucky day....this is how they ended up after i moved my car...

Yeah but when other people saw him charge towards him in full throttle its kinda hard argue. But it dosn't matter it was a joke im not being serious.

On a side note, I had a 70 El Co that had a throttle problem. I was an extreme newb at that point, but I was logical. No matter how I situated/arranged/modded the return cable/spring on the throttle (don't know the exact name), it would sometimes stick.

I never hit anyone, but I did have a few close calls.

people show off all the time when they line up for tech there, it was only a matter of time that some shit like this happened.. save that shit for the track, i would have KILLED him if that was my GN that got hit.... glad your car was't damage..

The cottrells don't need to show off, I think it was honestly an accident, nothing you can do to avoid it sometimes.

i doubt it was full throttle but im sure the throttle got stuck...the way that car was set up, if it got stuck at full throttle, it would have lifted the front tires, ramped over the chevelle and landed on my car....lol

so what did ur car run?
