Default Local shops...

i blew the **** outa my drivers side head gasket.... i need to know three things

1) cost to just fix the head gasket including parts.
2) cost to install H/C package if i provide parts
3) cost to install H/C package if i buy parts through you

just looking to go ported LS6/cnced 5.3 heads and a low to mid 230 cam
im currently looking at the TSP deal that comes with pushrods, assembled heads, and i would get a double roller chain and a ported oil pump with most like the torquer v3 (231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA)

so prices please? if u need me to call and tlak about it just lemme know when and who to ask for or PM me

hmmm the cost of the parts and a day of your time at your place......
we can do it all it takes is a little time and of course a little bit on $$$

driver side head gasket $500 labor + gasket

install heads and cam $1100 labor

install heads and cam $1100 labor, plus $1695 for cms stage 2 ls6 heads 'assembled', $399 for any cms cam, $120 for pushrods, 48.58 for ls2 timing chain.

of course dyno tuning is extra. which would be $450

total: 3362.58 with out tuning - 3812.58 with tuning

i just did this off the top of my head, if i missed anything just let me know

alrite cool ryne looks like ill pry be calling u as soon as i can figure out how to get my car up there

and ae, car isnt boosted or on the squeeze, i hammederd it up a street just 0-60 and when i let out of it all hell broke loose

thats pretty wierd. did u let off in gear at high rpm maybe? goodluck too you hope u get it fixed

tuning included in the heads and cam packadge,for no charge .only $100.oo for dyno time

total: $2750.oo with tuning AND DYNO TIME

His heads flow damn well something around 305-310 @ .590-600

those prices are for parts sold seperately. and the total is for everything installed at once as a packadge deal for ls1 tech members.

by the way my heads flow between 308 and 310 cfm on the stage II and can go up to 360 cfm on a fully built stage III..

That is a Great Package Deal...$550 off and a more than a $1,000 off of the other Guys...

o man...that makes me wanna get a h/c!!! what is the turn around usually for a h/c package...week? 2 weeks? or just does it depend on how busy you are at the time?
