Default come on in and read how i got f'ed over on tuesday

get ready to read how i got raped.

tuesday afternoon, im at a girlfriends house hanging out, watching movies, getting ready to head out to the pch cruise.

we go outside, and my car is gone. she goes to the neighbors to see if they saw anything, im freaking out because my phone, wallet, my computer, my ipod, basically my whole life is in my car and i always leave my windows cracked so it doesnt turn into an oven. im thinking my car is in mexico right now.

the neighbors tell my friend kelli they saw it get towed because i was blocking a fire hydrant. **** me.

i finally figure out what towing company has my car, and we go to get it. i find the ******** with my car and i go to get it out. i had to agrue that it was my car for 45 minutes (my wallet was in my car with my id and credit card) and they wouldnt let me ******* get it.

oh but wait theres, more.

i go to my car, my phone is gone and my ******* computer. im furious at this point. i asked the towing guy where the **** my **** is and he says he doesnt know what im talking about.

i call the police, wait and hour for them to get there, and they dont do **** saying there is no probable cause to search the tow company.

so lets recap:
i pay $235 to get my car back
my $1200 laptop, all my personal files, photos, programs, now belong to some *******. i have all that **** backed up but some ******* **** has all my **** now.
my POS of **** phone (no idea why anyone would want it )with all my contacts, belongs to someone's bitch (my mom had called me and some woman was actually stupid enough and answered it saying my mom dial the wrong number.
at least they left my wallet and ipod.

but thx world, for ******* me in the ***.

I dont mean to be a d!ck in this messed up situation but you were at wrong for parking by the hydrant. You called these guys ******** before you knew they took your things.

As for them taking your things, That really does suck. I would have got the Cops Badge number and file a complaint. Its stupid for them to just blow it off and say they dont have grounds to search the tow company.

Negative. The phone has to have a built in GPS device, Not all have them. The only thing that can maybe be done is if the phone is on, the government can triangulate the position of the phone with the use of all the Cell Sites in the area but not exact point. So its pretty much impossible.

For laptops there is a way, But you have to have that product installed onto the laptop prior.

Go to the local authority, police or sheriff, in the area and ask to speak to a sergeant or watch commander. That is enough probable cause to search. All you had to do was give them a list of your miising things and if they saw the items they would know theyre yours. Especially a laptop needing your password to log on. By now though, your stuff is long gone. Sorry man.

Not if you have the MAC address, in that instance you don't need anything..

I know almost any phone companies can at least lock the SIM card, but if you had sprint or verizon you can lock the phone for good so its at least useless for the perp.

That sucks dude. No wonder you didn't call me back.
I remember I parked next to a fire hydrant once (I honestly didn't notice it), but luckily all I got was a ticket.
