No later F-bodys and Vettes came with 241 heads. Only C5Z's came with 243 heads. (and GTO for the technical people)

Have them P&P'd and add a cam.

Fbody's ended production, but the LS1 was produced up until '04 (base model vettes). The only LS6 parts that made its way into Fbodys were LS6 blocks which IIRC came in 15% of '01's and 25% of '02's.

If you are planning to bolt the heads on the car as is, and they already have 918 spings installed, the minimum I would do would be to throw in a TR224 cam (assuming the springs can handle the lift, I pretty sure it can). Then you'll notice the differences in the cam and heads.

^^^ If they are the yelllow springs they have .580 lift and will handle the 224 almost perfectly. Just make sure you set the spring pressure correctly.

cometic .040". some hardened pushrods 7.4" (double check preload), if your planning on taking off the heads alot, get head studs, if not get regular arp head bolts.
