98 Z28 needs motor work... 98 Z28, just had a rebuilt motor throw a chunk from the #3 piston, cylinder is cracked for sure, not sure what else got damaged.:bang: Was driving it down the road at 45mph when the head gasket blew. Wife said no more money is gonna be spent on the car. Here's what was done: 99 LS1 block w/almost all new parts. NGK TR6 plugs heavy duty rod and main bearings. Mahle forged pistons with power pac low drag rings ARP 2000 bolts forged rods hardened push rods LS7 lifters CompCams performance cam specd by Patrick G custom built 2400 stall w/TCI Flexplate Comp Cams 918 springs GMPP LS6 intake GMPP CNC'd LS6 heads (11.7:1 compression ratio) (new in box) GMPP LS6 head gasket (new in box) ARP head stud kit (12-point) 90mm TB Evans LS1 high-flow coolant pump new stock crankshaft ASP underdrive pulley w/TCI flexplate.
