Default Questions about Value of My Trans Am

How much would you pay for an unmodded 2000 Pontiac Trans Am with 114,000 miles on it with a blown transmission? The car is in "fair" shape, tires are worn, window tint is peeling off, front nose of car is pitted. Kelly Blue Book lists a "Fair" price of around $4000...of course that would be assuming that car runs. I need to assign a value to my car and don't know roughly where I should be.....I'm thinking $2000?

You said UNMODDED right? You sure have a lot of mods in your sig for an unmodded car.

Your honest appraisal of your car is refreshing after reading about so many MINT cars with 100k+ miles on them. I think you are definitely in the ball park at $2,000. You may not get it but it is a good starting price which you can adjust further 'south' as time passes.

For legal purposes I need to assign a value to my car....for this particular purpose I don't think mods would make a difference, they will look at it in black and white (2000 Trans Am, 114000 miles, doesn't run, etc..). Thanks for the input everyone!
