About to buy a SS and want your opion on $$
After close two five months of searching. I think I finally found the right car. I'm going to make a deal in 3 hours. Here's what I found: 2002 Camaro SS M6 black with neutral leather interior. 56,000 miles. I would be buying it from the original owner. The engine looks great no leaks or burning oil. Its all 100% stock. It's even got the skip shift still on. The tires are gone so I have to buy a new set. No biggie. I'm trying to buy the car for $11,500 because I have to buy $1,000+ in tires. Is this a good deal?? Thanks!!

It sounds like a good deal to me. Obviously, if you could get down to $11,000 that would be better so you're not out as much on tires, but it has low miles. I paid just over $15k for mine in February but had less than 15k on the clock.
I say go for it and enjoy the car. Especially after searching for as long as you have it should be much enjoyed.
Good luck and put up some pictures when you purchase it!

Meh, I would try to talk him down a bunch. 56k isn't super low and I'm always a little worried about owners that let their tires run down to nothing. If you could get it for 10-10.5k it'd be a good deal.
