higher mileage 99 FRC vette price?
I picked this car up in a trade a few months back, just trying to figure out the value of it. Kelly blue book isnt helping me out lol it was showing like 8K for it.
Anyway, its a 99 fixed roof coupe vette. Black with black leather interior.
175,000 on the body. Motor and transmission have been recently rebuilt with receipts. Car is clean but the paint does have 175k so there are rock chips and scuffs on the front bumper and mirrors. Interior is clean with only the drivers seat showing some wear.
Goodies:
17" motorsport z06 wheels with drag radials
Lowered on aftermarket bolts.
224R cam and comp cam valvesprings
Ported stock ls1 heads
Vararam intake
LG Motorsports super pro longtubes and 3" offroad X-pipe
Factory titanium Z06 catback
LG short shifter
LS7 clutch
Any idea what its worth? Just looking for a ballpark figure here.
Thanks!!!

For what its worth...one just went through Manheim Auction with 145k miles for $8k. I would be surpised it you got more than $10k for yours. Maybe de mod it?

Thanks for the reply. Damn, I was hoping it would be worth a little more but oh well lol. Ill just keep it and maybe they will go up in value later on down the road, i know there werent too many FRC's made compared to regular C5's. I dont really care what its worth I was just curious.

Yeah, KBB is just about 'spot on' for this car and it may even be too high. That's a ton of mileage and very few will lay out that kind of $$ when so many issues will surface within the first year of ownership. There is so much more involved than just the drivetrain. It's certainly a plus, don't get me wrong, but many buyers won't be laying out the extra $$ for that unless you find a very naive buyer.
