1993 Trans Am 72,000 miles
I have a 1993 Trans Am for sale R-Title with 72,000 excellent motor and trans lots of work done. SLP intake, slp throttle body flow booster, new rotors and brakes, new injectors, more (shop my car is at has all paperwork of everything that's been done and all body parts are with the car) needs a computer or computer needs rebuilt. Body work needs completed. Car runs. What would be a good asking price for a project car like this with a good motor and trans with the work that needs done? I'm seeing motors and trans alone with over 100,000 miles asking around $1100-$1200. Thanks for your help. Pics below. Would $2500 be a fair asking price?

It's certainly fair to ask that price. It certainly isn't 'over the top'. I believe you will get a few calls, just expect some negotiating. There isn't much more room to the downside. Asking $2,000 or even $1,500 won't make much difference. Someone will either be interested and make an offer or just won't call at all.

appreciate your response. I just looked on ebay and there was a motor and trans out of a car with the computer 134,000 miles going for the price I had said in my post. My car runs and drives. So hopefully someone will see the value of an under 100,000 mile first year for the new T/A. Also, there is an LT! 350 on ebay for $2000 with 91,000 miles on it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Used-OEM-92-93-94-FIREBIRD-CAMARO-CORVETTE-ENGINE-5-7L-V8-350-LT1-91-000-MILES-/200922715127?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec7ed53f7&vxp=mtr
