98 Trans AM 6spd Vert
Just bought another vert so I am going to sell this one. It is the one in my sig. Just curious on what it would be worth as it is now or if I should swap the stuff from my new one over to the silver one and sell it as stock. It has 72k miles on it. Most of the modifications I put on around 60k. I also have a set of oem WS6 wheels that I can swap for the C5 DD wheels if someone wouldn't want those.
The car was originally white and the PO painted it silver. It was repainted oem silver but when the metallic red racing stripes were put on it, the clear coat had a small amount of red flake put in it.
As far as things that I can thing of that are the cons are:
-power door locks don't work (I am assuming this is a bcm issue)
-the rear window is separated from the top of the top.
-The drivers seat has a tan trim piece that goes over the power seat adjuster instead of the black.
-the radio isn't mounted. Never really bothered me because I rarely use it.
-Camber is slightly off on the front tires so the inside of the tires are fairly worn down.
Here's the mods list:
Engine:
Patriot Stage 2 Heads
Texas Speed hardened pushrods
Comp Dual valve springs
Comp 273LR cam
Ported ls6 intake
Billet Fuel Rails
Ported MAF ends
Ported TB
SLP Lid
Poly Motor Mounts
Norris Catch Can
Chris 1313 Ram Air
Custom Coil Reloation
Pacesetter longtube headers
Custom 3" True Dual Dumped Exhaust
Transmission and rear end:
Tick Stage 2 T56 Transmisson
Tick Adjustable Master Cylinder
Spec Stage 3+ Clutch
MGW shifter
Custom Machined Shift ****
Stock 10bolt with 3.23 gears (Blew up the rear with 4.56s )
Suspension:
BMR Front and Rear swaybars
BMR adjustable panhard bar
BMR tubular lower control arms
Sphoon tubular upper A arms
Koni Single adjustable shocks and struts (Fronts set on lower perch)
BMR lowering Springs with Heater Hose mod on rear
BMR strut tower bar
Drilled and slotted rotors with carbon ceramic pads
ABS Delete
Wheels:
C5 Deep Dish Machined face replicas
18x9.5 in the front with 275/35R18 Toyo R888s
18x10.5 in the rear with 315/30R18 Toyo R888s
15mm rear spacers
Rolled rear fenders
Interior:
Red gauge lights
All other interior lights white LEDs
Sunvisor delete
HVAC Delete
dual pillar pod with innovate MTX-L wideband (PO just screwed a pod to the pillar)
Alpine type R speakers in all 4 spots with tweeters in front
Other Appearance:
Shaved, smoothed, and painted engine bay
Custom Retro style taillights
Engine Billet cap set
Powdercoated battery cover
Trans AM badges removed
LCM truck housing headlights high and lows
6k HID in lows and fogs
LED switchback turn signals
Clear front markers
CETA mod
Only things I would be keeping would be my superhawk hood (which would be replaced by a silver flat TA hood), the shift **** that I made and maybe the billet cap set. I also might swap the shock spring combo over to my blue one and put the eibach KYB set on the silver one.
Here's a bunch of pics
I can take picture of anything else if anyone wants any.

I see you posted in the 'convertible' section. Best of luck with your new 'vert.
Modded 'verts are very difficult to sell, and being in a northern climate makes it even tougher. Did you see this thread while you were over there? https://ls1tech.com/forums/convertib...does-suck.html
No need to repeat much of what was expressed already. At least the timing is great for you. You have about 2 months left before it becomes too late, until next Spring.
