Default WIW 99 BBM z28 convertible.

Found a 1999 Bright blue metallic z28 vert. I'm pretty interested in buying but it's half way across the country.

I recently saw an hardtop BBM Z go for 8800 but it was very clean. I've personally never seen a BBM vert & z28 option. Car has 115K miles.

Thanks,

~Jim~

Hey Jim, I've seen a few of these pop up over the years and finally got lucky enough to own one...with that being said, I can help you out with prices. The first BBM Z28 I saw for sale was 2 years ago (hardtop, 6-spd w/ 89k miles). It originally listed for $11k and some change but was eventually lowered to $9,500. I have seen two convertibles for sale, one had 50k miles-ish if I remember correctly and was at a dealership. I believe it had leather and was an auto...selling for around $12 or 13k. The most recent vert (auto) I saw had 25 or 30k miles and was selling for $11 or 12k...very clean and extremely reasonable pricing. Lastly, the mack daddy of BBMs was for sale up in Canada about 10 months ago (hardtop, 6spd, leather) and sold for $20k+. Another Camaro owner saw it and traded in their 93-97 Camaro. As for your find, without pictures and with 115k miles, if it is in great shape, I'd say $7k for the car itself. If you factor in rarity...maybe an extra $1k if the seller knows what they have. There are a few posts with how rare the BBM verts are. I've seen the posts before and I want to say 14 BBM Z28 verts or so were made. Fact check that via the forums though. Very rare find, regardless! If it is clean and in great condition, I'd say go for it if you can get it under $9k!

Thanks for the reply. I never could get a hold of the seller. No clue why they bothered listing it but I reached out to the via multiple avenues. Recently started looking at C5 vettes in the same color since they are a little easier to come by.
