Default 98 WS6 6-speed, black, 107K, bad motor

I bought from my neighbor a black '98 WS6 Trans Am T-top, T56, grey leather, less than 110K miles. It's been sitting a few years. I cleaned it up a little and got it started, makes a lot of racket and knocking. The engine is bad, but it runs.
It's got a perfect OEM Ram Air hood, the body is not too bad, front bumper cracked, a few dings and fading. One of the lower back seat cushions is no good due to heavy books sitting on it for years, driver seat back is torn. It's going to need some TLC. I may not have the time to devote to it since I have 2 others just like it.
Do you think it's worth $2500-$3000 to someone?

My personal opinion is that it's probably not worth 3000 as it sits. I think you'll be lucky to get $2000 for a 98' (unfriendly PCM year) with a rough interior and higher miles with a bad engine. If you're willing to part out you might have good luck selling stuff piece by piece. Especially since it's an M6. Good luck with the sale.
