Default 1999 Formula 6speed 16,000 miles

I'm the original owner. It's Pewter, 6 speed, t-tops, and never seen snow/salt or been in an accedent. Car is mint no dings or scratches. I keep it in my garage with going on 16,000 sunny day miles. It also has Dynatech headers, B&B exhaust, and a few other light mods. Fully maintained with all records. Tires replaced 2 years ago.

There have recently been two similar cars discussed in this section ('99 Formulas with upper 20k/lower 30k miles, M6 trans) and they were priced at $13k & $14k in their ads. The one at $13k was local to us (Chicago suburbs) and in white, I don't know what the new owner paid but he's a member here and has posted about the car in the Midwest section. Neither car seemed to sell super quick at those prices, so probably somewhere around ~$11-12k would be a true value/actual sale price. At 16k miles yours is probably worth a bit more, though pewter is typically not as desirable as white so you might only get $500-1000 more than those ~30k mile white examples.

I'd agree with RPM WS6 in the $12K-$12.5K price range. The formula's may not be as "cool" as the WS6's, but they are a lot harder to find, especially with under 20K miles as there was no "collector" incentive to preserve them vs. say a WS6. I'd consider a Trans Am/Formula M6 to be similar in price to an SS of the same year. Good bang for the buck car as a 1 owner '99 WS6 M6 with 16K miles would probably be up in the $15K-$16K range. I'd figure a WS6 at $2K more than a Formula.

That was me. (I found my old login info) I paid $11k as a price point for you, Dave. Don't bother looking at NADA or KBB. The formula I picked up was bone stock, hardtop, M6 with 26k miles. I had a he'll of a hard time finding what I wanted but was glad I held out as long as I did.

I sold a 74k mile Formula hard top six speed for 10,500 last year. It was a Firehawk though. It took me a month or two to sell it. People always claim that the Trans Am package is worth more but I wouldn't give as much for one. I think they look way too busy and I can't stand to sit on a leather seat. Formulas have a smaller buyinv group but when it's what someone wants, they will pay for it.

Thanks for the solid data point on final price.

Here's another similarly low mileage Formula for sale:

It's been posted here for about 5-6 weeks. The '01-'02 cars are usually worth a bit more, but he'll probably have to take an offer of a thousand or two less than that to get it sold.

Firehawk formulas are *******. I always had a soft spot for those cars and damn near drove down to Texas (from Chicago) several years back for a really clean white one.
