Default What's my car worth?

Ok, I know what KBB and other sites say, but I seem to think it is worth more to the right person.
Maybe I am wrong, but the compliments and staring I get every day make me think it is.

It is a 2002 WS6 convertible, triple black, 153,000mi.
Completely stock performance wise.
New custom leather interior, no tears, the real stuff, not the crap GM called leather.
New carpet.
New Leather steering wheel wrap, shift ****, shift boot, ebrake handle and boot.
Completely new suspension, all rubber bushings, U/L ball joints, I/O tie rod ends, shocks (replaced EVERYTHING in shock tower), springs, bump stops, etc.

Many more maintenance items replaced.

Every switch, bulb, dial, all working.

Convertible top in good shape, no holes, tears, etc.

No wrecks, dents, etc.

Runs great, pulls hard.

No leaks.

Only issue is tranny is a little noisy and hesitates when shifting at high rpm.
Other than that it shifts fine.

Daily driver that has never let me down.

I traded my 00 WS6 vert with a fresh rebuilt LQ4, fresh Stage 2 T56 build, 155K, nice paint, and the common interior problems, for a higher mileage 94 Impala SS. I sold the SS for $5500, and I couldn't get $6000 for the WS6.

Got a lot of compliments on the car, but no one wanted a convertible. Yours is nicer than mine was, but the high miles, convertible, and transmission issues are going to kill you. I'd say you're at $5-$6k.

I would say $6,000, maybe $6,500 if someone really appreciates the time and effort you've clearly put into the car. Your miles kill the value...if I was you, I'd keep it and keep enjoying it...its worth more to you possibly than someone else.

Nice looking Vert!

Verts are all about your area and timing when you sell em. Down here in FL, especially in the spring or summer, You could probably get $7500-8k out of that car.

Up north where it is just a toy??? Maybe $5k.

Here in TX I was going to say you may get $5k
Prices for any TA are low where I'm located. Especially with your miles and possible trans issues.

EDIT: I just noticed you're also located in TX

I agree with the other's above. At 153k miles and a stock drivetrain, there's not going to be any demand from the folks willing to pay top dollar. The price will need to be attractive, relative to the region, to get the car to move.
