02 NHRA Trans Am M6

Looking to get an estimate on what one of these cars is worth sans engine. Car is an 02 NHRA with M6 and 162k miles. Threw a rod a few months ago and it's been stored since. Considering selling instead of putting a new motor in.
Has an uprated steel driveshaft, new rear end with 4.10 gears and a TA performance girdle, and a
new suspension with Bilsteins and strano springs.

Original engine still in the car with Ls6 intake, Suncoast creations ram air hood and ram air intake box, and loud mouth 2 cat back.

Car didn't throw any codes and shifts smoothly, everything worked prior to throwing the rod!

Any estimates?

Hard to say? It looks clean...Where are you located?

Educate me here. What makes your T/A an NHRA T/A?

The NHRA badges on the side....nothing too special about them, They had NHRA badges on the sides, the chrome 5 spoke 16's and I think a special Key Fob, only available on Trans Am without WS6 package

Like said above, they were fully optioned cars (minus ws6) with NHRA badging and fob. Original owner wanted everything, so he ordered NHRA and then added the functional ram air and sway bars.

Located in Nashville.
Flaws on the car are that it has a cracked dash pad and paint on the hood is chipping.
Fine elsewhere

You would prob be better off puttin a motor in it, you’re gonna have to wait for the right buyer, but I’d say as it sits not running and driving it will bring ~$4k give or take a couple hundred

^ I personally think that is generous for a non-WS6 roller essentially. The 162k mile T56/LS1 I don't see selling for a whole lot in the used parts market but I may be wrong. A trans am roller (i.e. personally I don't think the NHRA package is going to hold a lot of weight at this point) I don't see selling for anything more than $1k to $2k so assuming someone does see value in the motor/trans/other parts you could maybe do $3-4k. My guess would be that anyone that buys it will probably part it out.

My LS1 had a rod knocking after 150,000 and I just let it sit and started saving for parts to build a new engine. I was going to rebuild the LS1 to put into another car but the rod ended up trashing the sleeve and cracking the block. If the car means anything to you then I would just look at replacing the engine.
