Default 1997 30th Anniversary Edition Camaro Z28 white/orange

1997 30th Anniversary Camaro Z28. Arctic white with hugger orange stripes, 55k miles, auto completely bone stock besides K&N. Paint and decals are in fantastic condtion. Interior is in very good condition with no rips, just worn a little on one side of the drivers seat. Has t-tops, factory chrome wheels not the white ones, houndstooth white leather seats, and traction control. Everything on the car is in outstanding condition.

what is a car like this worth?

Thanks

Unfortunately your nice car is NOT what collectors are looking for yet so you really have to throw that out of the equation. A '97 is still too young to appreciate properly. Any potential collector is not looking for a 55k car with a little wear. He would be looking for ultra low miles and a car that is MINT to put away for the future. That leaves you with the average low mileage nice anniversary car that isn't fetching much at all right now. With high gas prices and a horrible economy you would be hard pressed to get $7,500 - $8,000 for it. It seems a shame to sell for that kind of money but that is probably the cold hard truth in todays market. A dealer would ask $10,000 probably but how long would it sit on the lot?? That's why I suggested the above figures for a real world transaction. Hopefully anyway.

I think it is a tough question to ask because it sounds like a wonderful car but the price won't reflect it. No one wants to insult the car and I didn't want to post either, to be perfectly honest. I'm just trying to help since I've owned these F-body cars since 1996. I have a fair idea of what is going on in the market for the past 12 years. There are always exceptions but generally my estimates are pretty close.
